The Interim Team Lead leads and develops the Sephora team, drives client experience and sales performance, and supports training, inventory, visual merchandising and daily store standards. This is a full-time, permanent role in Edmonton, with availability required for peak retail shifts, including nights, weekends and holidays.

Role & Responsibilities

• Lead and inspire team members to deliver exceptional client service and achieve sales goals.
• Drive store performance through client engagement, product knowledge and personalized recommendations.
• Coach team members through ongoing feedback and development to elevate performance.
• Support onboarding and continuous learning in service excellence, loyalty programs, product expertise and brand initiatives.
• Assist with inventory, visual merchandising and maintaining store standards.
• Promote an inclusive, open culture where everyone feels empowered.
• Uphold company policies and Sephora standards, helping create a safe and enjoyable shopping experience.
• Meet the minimum required number of weekly shifts and hours, with availability during peak retail periods, including nights, weekends and holidays; maintain punctuality and consistent attendance.
• Lift and carry up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of leadership experience in a retail, hospitality or service environment; at least 3 years is also stated.
• Proven ability to coach and inspire teams to achieve goals.
• Strong sales and client service skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Comfort working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Ability to learn quickly and absorb and share product knowledge and training.
• Physical ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.

Compensation

The base compensation for this position ranges from CAD 20 to CAD 23.55 per hour.
