Sephora seeks an Operations Consultant in Ottawa to manage stockroom operations and client service. CAD$19.20–$22.60/hr, part-time.
Role & Responsibilities
- Provide friendly, professional and knowledgeable client service during store business hours and assist in training other cashiers and consultants on Point-Of-Sale (POS) and MPOS systems
- Maintain standards of cleanliness and organization within the cashier zone while ensuring awareness of and compliance with Sephora's merchandising concepts
- Perform shipment receipt and processing in a timely manner, organize and maintain the stockroom per company standards, and process transfers, damages and testers according to established procedures
- Check in all visual merchandising elements and communicate missing or damaged pieces to the Operations Supervisor
- Communicate inventory issues and concerns to supervisory staff, ensure compliance with sampling policies, and participate in inventory control initiatives
- Participate in programs to reduce shortage and loss while maintaining safety and tidiness standards throughout assigned areas
Qualifications
- 1-2 years of retail or client service industry experience, preferably in a stockroom capacity
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Good computer, arithmetic and organizational skills
- Ability to multi-task while remaining attentive to client and business needs
- Effective time management, problem-solving and communication skills
