Sephora is hiring a part-time Operations Consultant for a permanent position at Vaughan Mills in Vaughan, Ontario. The role supports stockroom organization, shipment processing, inventory control and merchandising, while providing client service as needed; compensation ranges from CAD 19.20 to CAD 22.60 per hour, with eligibility for performance-based bonuses and benefits.
Role & Responsibilities
- Partner with the Operations Supervisor to maintain stockroom organization and merchandise updates.
- Provide friendly, professional and knowledgeable client service during store hours as needed.
- Assist in training cashiers and consultants on Point-Of-Sale (POS) and MPOS.
- Help maintain cleanliness and organization standards in the cashier zone and support Sephora merchandising concepts.
- Participate in programs to reduce shortage and loss.
- Receive and process shipments promptly; organize and maintain the stockroom to company standards.
- Process transfers, damages and testers according to company standards.
- Check in visual elements and report missing or damaged pieces to the Operations Supervisor.
- Maintain safety and tidiness standards at all times.
- Communicate inventory issues or concerns to supervisors, assistant managers or the Store Manager.
- Follow sampling policies and procedures and participate in inventory control.
- Cross-train in cashier functions when designated.
Qualifications
- 1–2 years of retail or client service industry experience, preferably in a stockroom.
- Good computer, arithmetic and organizational skills.
- Ability to multitask while remaining attentive to client and business needs.
- Effective time management, problem-solving and communication skills.
- High school graduate or equivalent.
- Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends and holidays.
- Ability to work in a fragrance-filled environment, lift and carry up to 50 pounds, and bend and stretch to stock shelves.
