Sephora Operations Lead, Calgary AB – Full-time retail operations management role overseeing inventory, team, and store execution.
Role & Responsibilities
- Lead and directly manage all members of the operations team, including overnight stock crews and operations leadership staff
- Execute all operations-focused processes to company standards, ensuring timely completion and compliance
- Manage store inventory operations including shipping, receiving, returns, cycle counting, and vendor coordination
- Oversee visual merchandising concepts and ensure on-stage displays meet company standards
- Supervise in-house and third-party cleaning crews, providing feedback, coaching, and escalation management
- Maintain appropriate budgets and inventory levels for supplies, testers, and samples
- Participate in performance management for the operations team, delivering timely feedback and development support
- Act as Manager on Duty, engaging with Beauty Advisors and clients on the sales floor
- Develop and manage store budgets while monitoring controllable expenses and payroll
- Demonstrate expert-level knowledge of store sales performance, staffing metrics, and financial performance
Qualifications
- One to three years' experience in a similar operations role at a comparable volume retail location
- Proven ability to influence peers and provide constructive feedback
- Strong store operations skills and process execution capability
- Effective time management and problem-solving abilities
- Experience managing operations teams in a retail environment
