The Operations Lead supports all operational aspects of a Sephora store in Toronto, including direct management of the Operations team, inventory, visual merchandising, supplies and cleaning crews. The role regularly serves as Manager on Duty and supports store execution; it is a permanent, full-time position.
Role & Responsibilities
- Lead store operations and ensure all operations-focused processes are completed to company standards.
- Manage the store’s inventory, including shipping, receiving, merchandise returns and cycle counts, ensuring processes meet company guidelines and timeframes.
- Manage merchandising concepts and on-stage visuals in line with company standards.
- Manage in-house and third-party cleaning crews, providing feedback and coaching and escalating issues as needed to ensure agreed standards are met.
- Maintain appropriate budgets and quantities for store supplies, testers and samples.
- Participate in performance management for the Operations team and ensure timely improvement feedback is delivered and followed up as needed.
- Regularly serve as Manager on Duty and engage with Beauty Advisors and clients on the sales floor whenever possible.
- Demonstrate a strong understanding of store sales performance, staffing, payroll and other controllable expenses, and develop budget strategies.
- Directly manage Operations team members and regularly support operations staffing, the overnight stock team, the Operations leadership team and overall store execution.

Skills
Experience
One to three years in a similar role at a store of similar volume, or equivalent internal experience; minimum 3 years.

The base compensation for this position ranges from CAD 22.20 to CAD 26.10 per hour.
