Sephora is hiring a full-time, permanent Operations Lead at its Yorkdale store in Toronto. The role leads store operations and inventory, oversees visual merchandising and cleaning crews, supports team performance, and helps manage staffing, payroll and controllable expenses. Compensation is CAD 22.20–26.10 per hour, with eligibility for performance-based bonuses.
Role & Responsibilities
- Lead store operations and ensure all operations-focused processes are completed to company standards.
- Manage the store Operations team, including staffing support for operations, the overnight stock team and the operations leadership team.
- Manage inventory processes, including shipping, receiving, returns and cycle counting, ensuring compliance with company guidelines and timelines.
- Manage merchandising concepts and on-stage visual presentation to company standards.
- Oversee in-house and third-party cleaning crews, providing feedback and coaching and escalating issues as needed.
- Manage the store’s supply budget and inventory of supplies, testers and samples.
- Participate in performance management for the Operations team and ensure timely feedback for improvement is delivered and followed up.
- Act as Manager on Duty regularly and engage with Beauty Advisors and clients on the sales floor whenever possible.
- Develop budget strategies and demonstrate a strong understanding of store sales performance, staffing, payroll and other controllable expenses.
Qualifications
- One to three years of experience in a similar role at a store of similar volume, or equivalent internal experience.
- Proven ability to influence peers and provide feedback.
- Strong store operations skills.
- Effective time-management and problem-solving skills.
- Minimum 3 years of experience.
