Sephora is hiring a part-time Paid Services Beauty Advisor II in London, Ontario, for a permanent position working 15–29 hours per week. The certified beauty services expert delivers personalized makeup services, supports sales and client retention, and upholds service, hygiene and compliance standards. Availability is required across four days, including three high-demand service days and specified closing shifts, with additional seasonal and June availability requirements.
Role & Responsibilities
- Provide personalized makeup applications, consultations and recommendations that inspire client confidence and encourage repeat visits.
- Use service appointments to identify client needs, recommend products and routines, convert services into product sales, and contribute to store sales and goals.
- Build meaningful client relationships through rebooking and loyalty-building activities that support retention and repeat business.
- Promote beauty services, secure bookings and rebookings, and inform clients about available services, events and experiences to maximize studio utilization.
- Follow beauty service protocols, hygiene and sanitation standards, appointment processes and service administration requirements.
- Stay current on beauty trends, products, techniques and service offerings through ongoing training and development.
Qualifications
- Experience in retail sales, beauty services, makeup artistry, skincare, salon, spa or client-facing service.
- Strong makeup application, skincare consultation, product demonstration and selling skills.
- Formal experience in beauty, makeup artistry, esthetics, salon, spa or freelance services preferred.
- An active cosmetology, makeup artist or esthetics license is preferred where provincially applicable.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Formal education in esthetics, makeup artistry or cosmetology preferred.
- Completion of Sephora Beauty Services certification requirements.
- Makeup artistry, esthetics or cosmetology certification strongly preferred.
- Provincial licensing requirements must be maintained where applicable.
