Sephora is hiring a Retail Talent Acquisition Partner on a 12-month contract, full-time, remote in the Montreal or Toronto region. The role leads end-to-end hiring for store leadership positions, supports recruitment operations and in-store hiring events, and partners with store leaders and national HR teams.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Partner with Talent Acquisition Managers to execute the retail recruitment strategy and anticipate future hiring needs through succession planning.
  • Build trusted, strategic relationships with hiring managers by developing a thorough understanding of their business, store culture and talent needs.
  • Lead the end-to-end recruitment process for store leadership roles, from opening requisitions and developing recruitment plans through sourcing, assessment, interviews, offers and onboarding.
  • Provide a high-quality, candidate-friendly experience that reflects Sephora’s values and leadership competencies.
  • Make hiring recommendations based on applications, résumés, interviews and candidate assessments.
  • Provide thoughtful feedback on internal talent and promote career mobility within the company.
  • Serve as a subject-matter expert for store teams, supporting the online applicant tracking system, onboarding and recruitment-system requests through the retail recruitment inbox.
  • Help deliver recruitment masterclasses and company-wide recruitment training initiatives.
  • Create and revise offer letters to ensure legal compliance and alignment with LVMH standards.
  • Act as a liaison between store teams and Human Resources by forwarding HR tickets and user-account issues.
  • Host question sessions to help store managers update hiring information and resolve account issues in real time.
  • Lead and support in-store hiring events for new store openings, seasonal hiring and priority stores; travel occasionally across Canada to support in-person events.
  • Contribute to employer-brand initiatives designed to attract outstanding talent to Sephora stores.
  • Support Sephora’s diversity, equity and inclusion commitments by helping create diverse and inclusive recruitment programmes.
  • Serve as a Sephora brand ambassador, ensuring every candidate interaction reflects the company’s values and employer value proposition.

Qualifications

  • At least two years of experience in recruitment, candidate sourcing or high-volume hiring in a dynamic retail or customer-service environment.
  • Experience screening and interviewing candidates to assess alignment with role requirements and Sephora’s values.
  • Experience using HR technology, including an HR information system (HRIS) and an online applicant tracking system; SuccessFactors experience is a plus.
  • A recruitment-focused approach, attracting and engaging candidates through LinkedIn, Indeed, social media, networking and creative sourcing strategies.
  • Passion for connecting talent with meaningful career opportunities while providing an inspiring and transparent experience.
  • Demonstrated success recruiting in a dynamic, high-volume business while working remotely.
  • Positivity, adaptability and collaboration, with an all-hands-on-deck mindset and willingness to contribute as needed.
