Asset Protection Partner at Sephora Toronto: loss prevention role protecting retail assets, CAD$25–$30/hr. Full-time position.
Role & Responsibilities
- Conduct surveillance on the sales floor and utilize CCTV systems to identify, observe, and apprehend or deter individuals committing external theft
- Prepare comprehensive reports on theft incidents, merchandise recoveries, accident investigations, and audits
- Develop and maintain professional relationships with internal partners, local law enforcement agencies, mall security, and other retailers
- Conduct store self-audits, checklists, and safety inspections; communicate findings to store leadership and District Loss Prevention Manager
- Partner with store teams and District Loss Prevention Manager to develop and execute shrinkage prevention plans
- Provide new hire and continuous employee training to maintain store loss prevention awareness
- Testify in court on behalf of the company in criminal or civil cases as required
- Assist store leadership team with inventory preparation and process execution
- Ensure adherence to all laws and Sephora policies concerning apprehensions, search and seizure, and evidence preservation
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of asset protection or loss prevention experience in a retail environment
- Valid asset protection or loss prevention licensing as required by province or local jurisdiction
- Strong written, verbal, interviewing, listening, and interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to maintain composure and provide effective coaching in loss prevention techniques
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Proficiency in Windows, Word, and Excel desirable
