Sephora seeks an experienced Team Lead for Store Operations to oversee all operational aspects of its Montreal location, including inventory management, visual merchandising, cleaning standards, and team leadership. The incumbent will manage operations staff, support night-shift inventory teams, and ensure compliance with company-wide processes and standards while delivering exceptional operational excellence.
Role & Responsibilities
- Manage all store operations and oversee the operations team, providing leadership, feedback, and coaching to team members
- Ensure adherence to all company procedures and operational standards across store functions
- Direct inventory management, including receiving, shipping, merchandise returns, stock counts, and process verification
- Oversee visual merchandising concepts and in-store displays to maintain brand compliance and visual standards
- Supervise internal and third-party cleaning teams, ensuring compliance with agreed-upon standards through feedback and escalation as needed
- Manage procurement and supply budget to maintain appropriate levels of supplies, demonstrators, and product samples
- Conduct performance evaluations and provide timely feedback to operations team members for continuous improvement
- Serve as on-duty manager on the sales floor, collaborating with beauty advisors and customers as required
Qualifications
- 1–3 years of experience in a similar operations role in high-volume retail environments
- Proven ability to influence peers and provide constructive feedback
- Excellent store operations management skills
- Strong time management and problem-solving capabilities

Compensation
