Business-to-business: products, services or transactions aimed at other businesses.
B2B describes the relationship between a supplier and a business customer. In fashion, wholesale orders from a brand to an independent retailer are a common example, while services and spare parts supplied to another business also qualify. Work may involve account relationships, negotiated prices, purchase orders and invoicing, depending on the transaction. The key distinction is who buys: a business purchasing for its operations or resale has a different commercial relationship from an individual buying for personal use. A company can serve both kinds of customer through separate channels.
